Was going to comment that it hadn't been quite so simple to me b/c I had to run grab a bunch of dependencies, but then I RTFM and saw that you had a step that would have made that easier. D'oh!

Hey Jon,

I agree with most of your points, but I'll reiterate what I said on Dan's blog: what do we blog about? The survey suggestion is not bad (though there's an arguable point that the blog is for news rather than data mining), but what else has been going on that's blog-worthy? We talked about The Coop (competition), Will Pate news (employee info), and general updates (from Shawn). Other than that, we're having very important but unexciting meetings about things like putting starred media streams in the favorites sidebar. Does this warrant a whole blog? My inclination is no, though I'd love to hear your response and any other suggestions for what we should blog about. I WOULD love to blog about more...I just don't want to bore people (and I know that post 0.8 there will be lots to talk about).

And yes, I'm doing my best to take lots of Flock HQ photos. Glad you liked them. :) We are human (except for Chatty).

[...] Well, it seems that I have at least one reader interested in the progress of pyNetcast. Unfortunately, I don’t have any progress to report. I haven’t found any time to work on it yet. However, I do have something that I feel I should write about. Many of you may already know, but for those that don’t: On last Wednesday, I found out that my dad had brain tumor and was to have surgery on Monday (yesterday). He has been hospitalized since the tumor was found on the MRI. I left for home around 11pm Friday and got home around 4:15am (had to wait for Tanya to get done with work). [...]
